Sam Ireland is a born and bred Albertan with a passion for people and a taste for business. Growing up in Medicine Hat and towns all over central Alberta, his education and sense of belonging was hewn here, and his roots run deep.
Sam was a good student, but his business acumen emerged before his facial hair. At only 17 years old, he completed a questionnaire for Realty World in Fort Saskatchewan (at the suggestion of a REALTOR® friend). The results were amazing, even though the time wasn’t right. After his second year at Grant MacEwan College (now MacEwan University), Sam jumped ship to run aboard with the family business (his family owned two paint stores). There he managed the city location for a number of years and took on construction and painting jobs that caught his interest.
Sam’s final experience before deciding to get his REALTORS® licence put the final mark on his passion for real estate. When buying their first home in 2003, he hired a family friend, and Sam jumped in, learning the ropes and getting the information, listings info and documents on his own. Even the licenced family friend had to suggest that Sam give real estate a go. Since he already had somewhat trained himself, Sam dove into professional certification. Needless to say, once his training was complete he went on to do 12 sales in 16 weeks. Real estate was clearly a perfect fit for Sam.
Living on an acreage in Sturgeon County through his high school years (and with the old Ireland family farmstead being located in Strathcona County) Sam keeps a special place in his heart for those counties. His work takes him to these places, as well as Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan, Parkland County and the mature neighbourhoods in the northeast and the lower east side of Edmonton. His experience and versatility make him an excellent choice for people looking for a home anywhere in central Alberta. In whatever community you look, Sam has likely been there helping people. He and his family have now moved to south-central Edmonton, and have really enjoyed being close to the pulse of what's happening in Edmonton and it's yearly festivals.
Sam’s been in Realty Executives’ 100% Cluband Top 10% Club since his first year in real estate. He’s got a reputation for having tight paperwork (which is a great way to get popular with vendors), but it’s when you work with him that the magic happens. Sam’s infectious enthusiasm and passion for helping people are strengthened by his unwavering positivity. He finds solutions that reduce the competitive nature of the business, seeking win/win scenarios that build lifelong relationships with clients, other REALTORS® and communities.
With the move to Edmontonians consistently voted #1 ReMax River City in January 2020, Sam is excited to take his team's level of service to his clients to new levels.
From helping families into their first home to creating multiple offers and selling a client’s home for more than they imagined, to helping the elderly couple in the home they built find another family who wants to build a new history, Sam Ireland is happy and ready to help you.
