At REMAX River City we continuously strive to be a source of support and kindness, as we commit to making a positive difference in our community. Through the collective efforts of the REMAX River City family and its supporters, an astounding $180,870 in donations has been raised this year.
Our office is “Sold on Giving” this means that every REMAX River City agent gives a portion of every real estate transaction to a charity, and agents have the ability to choose who they want to support.

The Children's Miracle Network
The Children’s Miracle Network (The Stollery Edmonton) was our largest donation ($155,970) REMAX River City is what is known as a Miracle office with Miracle Agents. We have seen firsthand the good that The Stollery does with our donations and how many families are impacted by the work they do, the #RiverCityFamily and our clients are grateful for you.
CASA Mental Health Foundation & The Edmonton Food Bank
We were extremely proud to raise $11,250 solely at our 2023 REMAX River City Holiday Party through our live auction. We posed a poll for our agents to directly decide what charity they'd like to support with the funds raised, which resulted in a tie between CASA Mental Health Foundation and The Edmonton Food Bank. We are very grateful for our generous community and to be able to support these two amazing organizations.
Other Community Initiatives
Fuel a School
During September 2023 our three River City locations ran a Food & School Supplies Drive to support two local schools; Norwood Elementary and Spruce Avenue Junior High. Unforunately, both of these schools have a large population of students that face many challenges that pose barriers for them to acquire essential needs to learn. Our agents, staff and vendors were able to provide both schools with resources that assisted their students to excel in the classroom. This drive was very special as we got to directly make an impact in our community and meet those who we supported.
Coats for Kids
During December to mid-January we collect warm winter clothing for Edmonton kids and families through the campaign Coats for Kids by The United Way. Edmonton Winters can be extremely tough and winter gear is necessary. We are collecting donations till the last week of January 2024, so if you'd like to donate you can drop it off at any one of our locations. The list of items needed is below.
